Driven by a need to move quickly to pre-empt a competitive threat, Summit Smith took the 138,900 s.f. Medical Building for Phelps County Regional Medical Center from schematic design to construction start in just three months.  The center will set a new standard for patient-focused care in the region; patients will have a single central location for physician visits, diagnostic testing, and hospital outpatient services. 

The six-story facility will house:

• A 22,000 s.f. Surgery Center with 4 OR’s, 2 Endoscopic and 2 Pain Management Procedure Rooms.
• 66,000 s.f. of physician office space
• 22,000 s.f. for diagnostic imaging and
• 22,000 s.f. for hospital services including outpatient rehab and women care.
